About Me

My name is Pree Simphliphan, an Engineering Student at Boston University class of 2026. I major in Computer Engineering with a minor in Mechanical Engineering and planning to concentration in Robotics this upcoming year.

I am a recipient of King's Scholarship awarded by Royal Thai Government for to pursue Bachelor's Degree abroad. Prior to Boston University, I studied one year of Postgraduate in Brewster Academy where I learned both academic and culture in American Education and adjust myself to be a innovative and creative student.

My background was passionate Mathematics student. I have involved with Mathematics Competition since I was in Grade 2. I have been received several acheivement that I didn't mention but the most valuable acheivement is to improve myself as a student. I have sharpened my critical thinking throughout the entire life. The journey during college will be finding my next career path.

During my time at Boston University, I have exposed myself to various fields; after my freshmen year, when I took Engineering hands-on class and learned the way engineer thinks and develops products, I have decided to continue my journey as an engineer because I have enjoyed developing new products that are crucial and impactful to society and bring Science to Life.

After my Summer Internship at Bank of Thailand, despite my position as process engineer intern, I have been exposed to several areas, including A.I., Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Printing Industry. My mind becomes clear that I have been falling in love with Engineering. I love solving and proposing the new solutions to the problem either from clients or to solve global issues as my project is to improve the industrial solutions of the Note Printing Work. The next step of this internship is to become an expert in some areas and continuously contribute to the industry field.

With my curiosity in embedding software into hardware and applying Mathematics knowledge, my main interest area spans towards IoT, Embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics. However, as I am exploring many fields, I am open to work in any other areas that I could still contribute engineering priciples to the field such as Software and Systems Development, Data, Process Engineering, Product Management and Design, Electrical Fields, etc.

Outside Engineering, I started learning financial fields especially stocks and personal financial management, as it is crucial for any profession to learn about those topics. In addition, I will learn new languages as it's important to be able to communicate with new people in new culture; I believe that culture and people are connected through languages. This year, I started reading books on life skills to improve my soft skills as a person, listening to some podcast and discussing various topics to enhance my communication skills.

Apart from Academics, I am always enjoyed chilling activities such as hiking, traveling to new places, or any activities connecting with nature. I also love exercising, rock climbing (indoor), playing board games, listening to musics, watching movies or series and hanging out with my peers and family outside my working hours. Moreover, I love playing basketball until my knee injury occured in 2021, but I still closely follow-up the news, not only NBA but also other sports such as European Football and the pattern of the games. I am looking forward to analyze more detail of the game as it has always been fun and interesting to deeply understand sports industry.
